Loading...October Sunday School
We have one more Sunday in our October series on Heroes and Sheroes of Faith. This week I will teach about a saint from our own parish, a lady known as Mother Fisher. Who will Ms. Kimberly teach us about? It's still her little secret. We'll gather in the Undercroft at 9:30 on Sunday morning and finish by 10:10.
Family Ministry Sunday
Thank you to everyone who helped make our first Family Ministry Sunday a special day at Emmanuel. I got so many comments from folks who loved seeing the kids and their adult family members helping with the worship service. We will have another Family Ministry Sunday some time after the first of the year, so be thinking about what job you'd like to have. Anyone want to give the sermon?
2027 Family Retreat
I reached out to Spring Lakes Ranch about having our family retreat there again next summer. They are holding the same July weekend for us, which would be July 16-18, 2027. Please let me know by email or text if that would be a good block of time for your family to participate. The cost of the retreat can be largely, possibly completely, underwritten by the Kreps Memorial Trust. I'll be waiting to hear from everyone if I should book the ranch!
Nursery Staff Openings
We would like to hire 2 more nursery staff. If you know of any likely candidates, please get them in contact with Samantha or with me.
Blessings to All. We hope to see lots of bright, shiny faces at Sunday School this week.
