Drawing on a story from author Frederick Buechner, the sermon explores how unexpected encounters shape our faith. Although Jesus initially seems aloof, the woman's persistent faith and deep humility transform the moment. She helps show the disciples that God's followers are called to be "distribution points, rather than chokepoints" of His grace and healing. Gathered as a community of seekers and believers, we are coaxed by Christ to share heaven's blessings in our daily lives across San Angelo.
