What is Mardi Gras?

Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday, is the last day before the Season of Lent begins, and it is a time of revelry and clearing all of the rich food from the kitchen in preparation for Lenten austerity. Emmanuel keeps this tradition alive with a night of Cajun-style food, fun, and fellowship, in which all are invited to share.

Dinner will include fried catfish, crawfish boil, Louisiana Andouille Sausage, Gumbo, Hush Puppies, Cole Slaw, Dirty Rice, Iced Tea, sodas, and for the grown-ups who like that sort thing, there is cold beer and wine.

Instructions

Come as you are. All are welcome. A $10 donation per person is asked. You may pay in advance by check or online, or you may pay at the door.
