Back to School Blessing of the Backpacks

As students get ready to start a new school year, we will send them back to school with a sense of God's presence in their lives through a prayer of blessing for their school backpacks, for themselves, for their parents, and for all teachers and school staff, too. Students will receive a button emblazened with an image of Emmanuel to carry on their backpacks during the school year.
